Baking with AutoSteam+ steam support
The KTE1040B oven offers steam-assisted baking in most automatic programs. This function can also be activated for selected programs, such as convection baking, allowing you to set the steam quantity (in 3 levels, each using 100 ml of water). Simply fill the practical pull-out reservoir with a maximum capacity of 300 ml of water. As a result, your dishes will not only be tastier, fluffier, and moister but, above all, healthier, since steam-assisted baking requires significantly less fat. Steam also speeds up the baking process itself, so your dishes will be ready faster.
The AutoSteam+ function delivers excellent results, especially when baking bread, pastries, dishes made from yeast dough, casseroles such as lasagne, as well as fish, poultry, and veal.
