The De Dietrich DPI4414B is a built-in induction hob with a black glass-ceramic surface and rounded edges. The front touch controls are complemented by a red LED display showing the power and timer settings. The four cooking zones are complemented by a left HoriZoneTech Flex zone measuring 40 x 23 cm with a power of 3.7 kW, designed for use with larger or differently shaped cookware. The separate 16 cm and 23 cm zones provide outputs of up to 2.4 kW and 3.7 kW, the touch controls offer 20 power levels, a 99 min electronic timer and direct access to Warm keeping, Simmer, Sear and Boost modes.
The functional equipment includes Boil for boiling water in the range of 0.5 to 6 l, ICS for optimising cooking zone selection according to the cookware, Recall for restoring the last settings, Switch for moving cookware while keeping the settings, and Elapsed time for displaying the time elapsed since the last power change. Safety features include 10 safety features, including a temperature limiter, residual heat indication, overflow protection, child lock and Auto-Stop system. The total hob power is 7.4 kW.
