The De Dietrich DPI4440X induction hob with a width of 65 cm combines a glass-ceramic surface in the Stellar steel finish, touch controls and a white LCD display with a text area for the cooking guide, alerts and other information. The cooking surface consists of 4 induction zones with Demi-HoriZone heating and 2 HoriZoneTech Flex zones on the left and right, each with a power of 3.7 kW and dimensions of 230 x 400 mm. The cooking zones measure 230 x 200 mm and have a maximum power of 2.8 kW. Power can be set in 20 levels, and direct selections Keep warm, Simmer, Sear and Boost are also available. The hob automatically detects cookware, and the ICS function helps optimise the choice of cooking zone according to the diameter of the cookware used. The Switch function allows cookware to be moved to another zone while retaining the original power and time settings, Recall recalls the last settings of switched-off zones, and Elapsed time displays the time elapsed since the last power change.

The extended equipment includes a cooking assistant with the modes Recipes, Sous-vide, Boil, Grill and Blanch. In Recipe mode, the hob sets the power and cooking time according to the selected food, recommends suitable cookware and the corresponding cooking zone, and for selected procedures guides the preparation step by step on the LCD display. Boil mode works with 0.5 to 6 l of water, alerts you to add ingredients once boiling point is reached and then displays the time and power. The Blanch function is intended for preparing vegetables in boiling water followed by cooling, the Grill function uses the optional De Dietrich Grill accessory, and Sous-vide mode works with low-temperature cooking of food in a bag. The equipment also includes AutoLink for communication between the hob and hood, Clean lock for temporarily locking the controls during cleaning, Lock, a timer for each cooking zone and a separate minute minder. Safety features include a child lock, residual heat indication, protection in the event of overflow or covered controls, a cooking zone temperature limiter and the Auto-Stop system with automatic switch-off of a forgotten zone. The total power is 7.4 kW and Power Management allows setting levels of 7.4 / 5.7 / 4.6 / 3.6 kW according to the possibilities of the electrical installation. The hob supports three-phase connection, is supplied without a plug and with a 130 cm power cable. A seal is included in the delivery; the Grill is available as an optional accessory. Smart automatic recipes (AI Smart navigation): The cooking assistant offers 74 automatic recipes and sets the power and cooking time according to the selected dish. In Recipe mode, the hob works with categories such as meat, seafood, desserts, eggs, vegetables, pasta and rice, including options according to type, thickness or quantity. For selected procedures, it also recommends the suitable cooking zone and cookware and guides the preparation step by step on the LCD display.
