The De Dietrich DCP4558X built-in oven in Stellar steel finish is designed as a multifunction pyrolytic oven with a 73 l capacity, energy class A+ and equipment focused on precise cooking control. In manual mode, it allows the cooking type, temperature and preparation time to be set, with programmes available for fan-assisted cooking, combined cooking, traditional cooking, Eco mode, fan grill, bottom heat with fan, variable-power grill, Air Fry, keep warm, defrosting, dough proving, drying and Shabbat mode. For selected functions, the oven recommends a temperature that can be adjusted as needed and gives an audible signal when the set temperature is reached. Cooking can also be supplemented by setting the preparation time or delayed end of cooking.
Automatic modes expand the cooking options according to the type of dish. Ai Talent Sensor mode uses electronic sensors inside the oven, which continuously monitor the humidity level and temperature development, and automatically calculate the cooking parameters according to the selected dish, meaning the temperature, time and cooking type. Low-temperature mode is intended for slow preparation at lower temperatures, helping to soften the fibres of meat. In AUTO mode, recipes are divided into the categories Meat, Fish, Dishes, Bread and pasta, and Desserts, while the oven displays the recommended shelf level before the dish is inserted.
The Air Fry function works with a perforated tray and a temperature range of 180 to 220 °C. Food is placed directly on the perforated tray without overlapping, while the drip tray is placed underneath it to collect cooking residues. This mode is intended, for example, for vegetables, chips, breaded dishes or battered dishes using no fat or only a very small amount of fat. The drying function is intended for fruit, vegetables, mushrooms, herbs and other ingredients; the manual specifies the use of a rack with baking paper, even distribution of sliced food and the option of drying on one or two levels.
User comfort is supported by a white LCD display, touch controls with a rotary selector and direct access to manual mode. The rotary selector is used to choose programmes, adjust values and confirm by pressing in the centre. The control panel can be locked during cooking and when the oven is switched off; only the off button remains active. In the settings menu, it is possible to adjust the time, display brightness, audible signal, language, sleep mode and lighting behaviour, where the light can remain on during cooking or switch off automatically after a certain time.
The equipment includes side racks with 6 levels, a rack with anti-tip safety stop, a 45 mm multipurpose tray, an 8 mm pastry tray, “saveur” half-racks and a perforated tray for Air Fry mode. The sliding rail system allows the tray to be partially pulled forward and, according to the manual, makes it easier to handle trays when working with food. The door is equipped with inner glass panels that can be removed for cleaning according to the procedure in the manual. The AI Sensor function uses a humidity sensor, thanks to which the oven adapts the settings to the dish being prepared during automatic cooking.
Maintenance is provided by pyrolytic self-cleaning, during which the oven cavity heats up to a very high temperature and removes baked-on food residues or grease. The oven is equipped with pyrolytic self-cleaning with two programmes: PyroExpress 59 min and Pyrolysis 2H. PyroExpress is intended for a faster cleaning cycle, while Pyrolysis 2H is used for longer pyrolytic cleaning of the oven cavity. During pyrolysis, the door is automatically locked for safety reasons and, after completion, a cooling phase follows. Dimensions (HxWxD): 59.2 x 59.2 x 54.4 cm.
